Many may know queer actress Jasika Nicole from her roles on Fringe, Scandal, and Underground. Yet Nicole has also gained a following for her role as queer trucker Keisha in the dark paranormal podcast Alice Isn't Dead. Nicole was a guest earlier this year on Pride.com's Nerd Out, where she spoke with host Jessie Earl about the recently completed final season of Alice Isn't Dead, the importance of queer actors playing queer, how to handle anxiety and activism, and her feelings about her time on Fringe, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in September.
