In the wake of actor Luke Perry's sudden death on Monday at age 52, actresses Rosanna and Patricia Arquette both shared touching tributes to the actor, who shared a deep friendship with their late sister -- transgender activist Alexis Arquette.
"One of the memories that I have that is beautiful is when my mother was dying, Luke came and brought his new baby daughter and put her in bed with my mom, who was so happy," Rosanna Arquette told People. "The gift of life. She loved Luke, we all did. Alexis and Luke were very close friends."
Perry and Alexis Arquette had been good friends for over 30 years before Alexis passed away in 2016 from complications related to HIV.
"I know Alexis is with him, I believe that," Rosanna says. "They loved each other deeply and were so close. Luke never judged Alexis just loved her as she was. And it was a gift. Luke was a good man."
Actress Patricia Arquette took to Twitter to remember the late actor with a picture of Perry and her sister, Alexis:
"Luke Perry - Irreplaceable beautiful and kind human being, incredible friend, generous actor and adoring father to Jack and Sophie and loving partner to Madison we are all heartbroken. You are the love and you are the light."
