Drag's 'Big Wigs' Talk Biz on Frank DeCaro's New Digital Series

Join radio personality and author of Drag: Combing Through the Big Wigs of Showbusiness Frank DeCaro live with drag luminaries from RuPaul's Drag Race and beyond on the new weekly series Big Wigs Live! premiering Thursday at 9 p.m. Eastern on Zoom and Facebook Live.

DeCaro, the former host of The Frank DeCaro Show on Sirius XM and a correspondent on The Daily Show, kicks off the new series with drag royalty Miss Richfield 1981, and Drag Race stars Jaidynn Diore Fierce, and Soju.

Based on DeCaro's work with Drag: Combing Through the Big Wigs of Showbusiness, the series seeks to provide a virtual, universal experience that emulates the panel discussions he's held around the country. Slated to appear on Big Wigs Live! are drag stars Nina West, Darienne Lake, Tammie Brown, Mrs. Kasha Davis, Mercedes Iman Diamond, and Bitch Puddin'.

DeCaro is the author of five books, including his memoir A Boy Named Phyllis, now available on Audible. He's also a frequent contributor to The New York Times'style section and he curates the "Drag Moment of the Day" on Instagram.

The series is produced by Minneapolis-based Chad Kampe, mega-producer of drag brunches and the wildly popular Golden Girls-themed "Golden Fans at Sea" cruises.
