Just three months after musician Anne Cline popped the question during one of her shows, Taryn Manning has reportedly ended the pair's engagement.
The proposal took place when Cline, who fronts the band Cline Street, got down on one knee during one of their performances and pulled out a ring in front of a packed crowd. At the time, the audience cheered when Manning said yes, and the couple reportedly embraced on the dance floor after Cline put the ring on Manning.
A rep for Manning told TMZ at the time that the two were thrilled about the engagement, and that for Manning, "It was the easiest YES I ever said."
However, according to Page Six, that "yes" might not have been so easy after all. According to the report, Manning only agreed to the engagement because she would have felt awkward turning Cline down in front of a crowd.
Over the course of the ensuing months, Manning reportedly came to the realization that this "just was not the right relationship for her," a source told Page Six.
The actress reportedly ended the relationship last month and has allegedly already moved on and is dating someone new. "She now has moved on and is happy in a new relationship," said the source.
Signs that there were problems in the relationship appeared on Manning's social media when she posted a photo of herself on Instagram with her dog captioned, "I'm sticking with animals from here on out."
This was followed last week by another social post which seemingly confirmed she met someone new. "And then suddenly, you meet that one person that makes you forget about yesterday, and dream about tomorrow," it read.
As of this writing, neither Manning nor Cline have commented publicly about the reported split.
