Off Sunset is the closing event for Los Angeles Leather Pride. Read more below.
The fifth annual Off Sunset Festival was attended by over 10,000 men, women, and a few dogs of both the canine and human variety. The weather was perfect on Sunday afternoon, and the crowd looked great despite days of parties and events beforehand.
There was live music, DJ-driven dancing, gourmet food trucks, beer trailers, and booths representing much of the Silver Lake cultural scene.
The Off Sunset Festival Community Grant Program awards a series of grants to selected nonprofit organizations that offer services and programs in Silver Lake and surrounding areas. Festival proceeds enable them to provide financial support toward beautification, art, and youth programs with an emphasis on the LGBT community. Grant applications and guidelines are available at www.offsunsetfestival.com.
Thanks to Miguel Angel Reyes for the perfect photos.
