Mischief and mayhem invade the mountains of Big Bear Lake, Calif., when the boisterous bears hit town later this month. Read more below.
Big Bear Lake is a perfect vacation spot in the San Bernardino Mountains of California and thus the perfect and aptly named resort town for an invasion of happy, hairy bears from all over.
The photos here from 2015 and 2016 give you a salty taste of the variety of ursine revelers who take over the small town. This year, CeCe Peniston and Leslie Jordan will keep the guys dancing, laughing, and celebrating.
A diverse variety of bears, cubs, and more gather August 17- 20. The host hotel, the Lodge at Big Bear Lake, is super nice, and there are tons of perks and extras. There are VIP passes and day passes, so if you want drive up for the day and check it out.
