Swiss-born Sandro Bross has his own hair salon in Baden, close to Zurich. But for the last 15 years he has been side-tripping as a photographer, mostly of young men. Sandro uses the naked male body as a canvas to catch the cool, soft light of the region. While his work is extremely sensual, it is his technical expertise that lures us into the image.

"Clean and soft with a touch of the erotic", Sandro tells us.

Sandro makes the most of the astonishing bodies in his photographs. He deftly employs iconic men's briefs as a counterpoint to the expanses of muscled flesh. These skimpy items appear to be vintage, some having lost much of their elasticity and hanging precariously on the slim hips of his young subjects. Near nudity can be more exciting than full exposure sometimes.
