"My name is David Velez. I'm from Portugal. I live in a place called Seixal, near Lisbon and I'm 26 years old. When my friends talk to other people about my work the first thing they say is that 'David photographs lots of naked guys.' And well, its partially true. I do a lot of photography where the male body is the main subject. It's not the only type of work I do, but when I think about personal work that's what's more close to me. I like to explore the way light affects the body, create lines, shadows, make the picture more interesting. Light is everything, that is my favorite thing to study with my personal work. And lately I've been trying to explore fashion and body/nude together."
