Mexico City photographer and graphic artist Alex Sanchez knows that all he has to do it let his men relax and be themselves and the results will be beautiful. Read more below.
Utilizing mostly natural light, Alex Sanchez makes it look so easy, stress-free. He doesn't impose himself into the photos. It takes artistic wisdom to know that all we need is to see the model clearly, bathed in warm light, and at ease in their own skin.
Alex tells us, "I'm a graphic artist from Mexico. I always been interested on eroticism. I started drawing during college as a way to process my own sexuality, but it wasn't until I moved to NYC and attended the Erotic Drawing Workshop that I really took more seriously the idea of erotism as a theme in my drawings.
2 years ago I started photographing with models. I like to show nudity in the pictures on a soft way. Love to use natural light, cause gives me a wide range of elements to play with: Shadows on the body, deep, mood, contrast, etc. When I make a photograph I like to create a mood and a storyline, what I love in a picture is when you catch a moment where it makes you wonder about what was happening in that moment -- what was the model was thinking? --what happened before or after this picture was taken? All that in a erotic setting."
