The hairiest, beefiest, most bearded street fair in New York City made America growl again.
The 10th annual Urban Bear woke from hibernation to play on the streets of New York from May 17 through May 20. The street fair was on Little 12th Street between Washington Street and 10th Avenue. A portion of the donation tickets went to Callen-Lorde Community health Center. Good bears. Events included the 'Stache Bash at Julius, Bearmania at The Monster, Yoga Bear, Bears Ahoy Sunset Cruise (see photos of go-go bears here), and wound up with the Mega Beer Blast at Rockbar. Sign up for the mailing list here so you don't miss it next year.
More on their site, Facebook, and Instagram. Thanks to the wonderful Urban Bear CEO Robert Valin for hooking us up with the great photos from Gustavo Monroy and Catalin Stelian.
