Photographer Carl Vanassche likes natural light and natural young men to bask in it. Read more below
Vanassche shoots a wide variety of material, much of it has a kinetic quality as with his shots of dancers in motion. But these photos of young men -- not models -- have a sensuous stillness about them. You can almost hear a heartbeat.
In Carl's words:
"I bought my first camera in 2011 and a couple of months later I started to work with models.
"Most of my models are regular next door guys who have never modeled before, but I also work a lot with experienced models, actors, dancers, DJs, and performers.
"Apart from model photography I also do abstract architectural photography and kinetic photography.
"I publish photos on regular basis in digital and printed magazines and had several solo exhibitions in Paris, Amsterdam, and Barcelona.
