According to Arne Holte at the University of Tromso in Norway, a man's fancy does not turn to love in spring as much as it gets heated up in fall, as reported by TheLocal.no.
Apparently it has something to do with the light. The same might be said for the very stimulating fall-like photos of Randy Addison. It's all about the light. And the density of muscle tissue. And the silkiness of fur.
You might remember Randy's work on our site from earlier. His gallery was very popular, and when we approached him for an additional set of photos, he was delightfully generous.
Born in a small town in coastal South Carolina, Randy Addison grew up among the traditions and trappings of Southern Gothic culture, the perfect inspiration to see the world with an artist's eye. Storytelling through words and art led to a BA in English and an MFA in Illustration. Art guides all aspects of his life, including time as an artist for a mannequin company; a career as a barber, in which he felt himself a sculptor of hair; his private drawings about anatomy and revelation; or his photography as seen here, elevating particular moments or emotions ... or creating atmospheric mindscapes. No matter what the project, when working with models, Randy's goal is to show them something heroic and beautiful about themselves they've never seen before.
Please check out his website for contact info, a model interest form, and upcoming prints for sale. In the meantime, you can follow his updated work through Facebook and on Instagram.
