Sizzle 2019 kicks of in South Beach at one of the most sought after venues on the beach. The Sizzle Miami Mega Jumpoff begins Thursday, May 23, at Studio 23 where almost everyone that's anyone comes to party.
Created in 2002 by Dwight Powell, Sizzle attracts party-seekers from around the world to convene in sunny Miami, celebrating life, pride, and liberty. Originally a one-day event, Sizzle Miami has evolved into a 5-day smorgasbord of captivating day-time events, and pulsating nightlife. Sizzle is also proud to be the largest and most respected social gathering of the year recognized each year by both mayors of Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami. Sizzle Miami occurs during the Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-27, 2019.
Although a predominantly urban male event, Sizzle Miami is open to all men and women age 21 and older. Sizzle is mostly attended by African-American folks, but all races are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
Why Miami? Well, Miami is unlike any other city in the United States. It's a city in the making, unpredictable, ever changing, and simultaneously laid-back. Residents and tourists alike consider Miami a lush, exotic paradise, and a smorgasbord of style, substance, and flare. Furthermore, Miami has proven to be extremely open and accepting of all cultures, ethnicity and sexual orientations.
