Venezuelan photographer Mauricio A. Rodriguez's work is a representation of his mind, his views on life, experiences and adventures. The images in his series "UNLOCKED" are after the art of appropriation. Living in a world of digital access and intangible personas, this work is based on social media voyeurism and the redefinition of portraiture, aka the "selfie". We are unlocking ourselves to the world and craving the attention of digital acceptance, insta-gratification and the imaginary perfection.
