San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair, the world's largest celebration of kink, leather, and alternative sexualities, returned in full last Sunday for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic (there were modified events in 2021), drawing an estimated 100,000 people, many of them LGBTQ+
"Sunday's celebration felt like an experience punctuated by releases -- literally and figuratively speaking," SFist notes. "The sense of joy that against all odds, the largest leather festival in the world managed to navigate the pandemic and return in true form was palpable."
