Hot Frosty, your days are numbered.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, more than 625 sexy Santas and fundraisers turned up the heat at Sidetrack Chicago for the 2024 Northalsted Santa Speedo Run. This annual event celebrated its 13th anniversary with bang: raising over $182,000 for the Center on Halsted, which is a local organization that supports the LGBTQ+ community.
Organizers estimate that the event was attended by 1,200 people this year, ranging between actual runners and party-minded individuals. Debbie Fox once again hosted the event, which prides itself as the "start of the Midwest's LGBTQ+ holiday season."
A press release for the annual Northalsted Santa Speedo Run notes other highlights of the events, such as "awards for top-donations earners, both teams and individuals." David Roberts — this year's top fundraiser — was also inducted into the 100k club after raising more than $100,000 over the course of 10 years.
To donate for this year's total earnings, you can visit CenterOnHalsted.org. Plus, one can make sure to write down Dec. 6, 2025, as the date of the next event, if interested in participating!
