During the Democratic National Convention, the out state legislator explains local parlance.
Democratic Pennsylvania state legislator Brian Sims is making the rounds at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, mingling with delegates and participating in panels including "What's Next for LGBTQ People of Color?"
Sims -- who represents Philly's Center City and is the state's first out state legislator -- took a moment out his busy schedule to speak about colloquialisms specific to the City of Brotherly Love. Check it out below, via Penn Live.
Sims was a candidate for Congress but decided to end his run earlier this year.
