Alex Jones, a supporter of Donald Trump who has embraced many bizarre conspiracy theories, has gone on a homophobic rant against Congressman Adam Schiff, a congressman leading the House investigation of the Trump campaign's ties to Russia.

Jones's tirade came in a video posted to his YouTube channel Thursday. Jones, proprietor of the Infowars website and host of The Alex Jones Show, was hosting Roger Stone, a sometime Trump adviser who's also known for conspiracy theories. Schiff has publicly wondered if Stone was complicit in Russian hacking of the Democratic National Committee's communications. Investigators are also looking into whether far-right websites such as Infowars and Breitbart played a role in Russian interference with the U.S. presidential election.

In a video clip distributed by watchdog group Media Matters, Stone said Schiff, a California Democrat who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, has "maligned" him and questioned his patriotism. Jones responded with the following:

"I'm not against gay people. OK. I love them, they're great folks. But Schiff looks like the archetypal cocksucker with those little deer-in-the-headlight eyes and all his stuff. And there's something about this fairy, hopping around, bossing everybody around, trying to intimidate people like me and you, I want to tell Congressman Schiff and all the rest of them, 'Hey, listen, asshole, quit saying Roger and I' -- and I've never used cussing in 22 years, but the gloves are off -- 'listen, you son of a bitch, what the fuck's your problem? You want to sit here and say that I'm a goddamn, fucking Russian. You get in my face with that, I'll beat your goddamn ass, you son of a bitch. You piece of shit. You fucking goddamn fucker. Listen, fuckhead, you have fucking crossed a line. Get that through your goddamn fucking head. Stop pushing your shit. You're the people that have fucked this country over and gang-raped the shit out of it and lost an election. So stop shooting your mouth off claiming I'm the enemy. You got that, you goddamn son of a bitch? Fill your hand.' I'm sorry, but I'm done. You start calling me a foreign agent, those are fucking fighting words. Excuse me."

Jones went on to say Schiff "is sucking globalist dick."

Jones's ideology, to the extent it can be explained, is basically that there is a global conspiracy involving large corporations and politicians to undermine Americans' freedom. He sees Trump, who he interviewed during the campaign, as the nation's savior. But he has claimed there is a plot to kill Trump, and he also has claimed he himself was the target of a murder plot by Hillary Clinton.

He has alleged the U.S. government was involved in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and publicly wondered if the 2012 mass shooting of children and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School was faked by the government, using actors. More recently, he called Lady Gaga's performance at this year's Super Bowl "satanic."

If you dare, watch the video below. And not that it makes a difference, but in case you're wondering, Schiff is not gay.
