Caitlyn Jenner visited the White House Thursday and met with Trump administration officials, although no one's saying exactly who those officials were or what was discussed.

"She was there for meetings and on her promo tour for her new book, released this week," a representative for Jenner told ABC News after someone from the network saw her entering the White House complex. Jenner has a memoir out, The Secrets of My Life.

Jenner, a Republican, has been critical of the Trump administration, especially for its withdrawal of guidelines for schools on equal treatment of transgender students. "Here's the deal-breaker with the Republican Party," she told Diane Sawyer on ABC's 20/20 recently. "And the deal-breaker is, 'You mess with my community ... you don't give us equality and a fair shot, I'm coming after you.'"

She told Sawyer she attended Donald Trump's inauguration and he invited her to play golf, which she didn't think she'd do, but she said she'd like to meet with him to discuss LGBT issues. She recently told another TV host, Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson, that she would rather try to move the Republican Party to a better place on LGBT issues than try to change the Democratic Party's positions on economic ones.

She is a political junkie who thinks even the wonkiest details are fascinating, and she always loves to see political candidates who are groundbreaking in some way. She enjoys writing about other topics as well, including religion (she’s interested in what people believe and why), literature, theater, and film. Trudy is a proud “old movie weirdo” and loves the Hollywood films of the 1930s and ’40s above all others. Other interests include classic rock music (Bruce Springsteen rules!) and history. Oh, and she was a Jeopardy! contestant back in 1998 and won two games. Not up there with Amy Schneider, but Trudy still takes pride in this achievement.
