The Trump toadie responded to a taunting tweet from Chelsea Handler.
For National Coming Day, Republican South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham announced that, despite numerous rumors and jokes, he is not gay.

This comes after comedian Chelsea Handler tweeted out that she suspects the ardent defender of accused attempted rapist- turned-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was taking the day off to celebrate the LGBTQ holiday on Thursday.
“If you’re wondering why Republicans took a sick day today, it’s probably because it’s #NationalComingOutDay. Looking at you @LindseyGrahamSC”— Chelsea Handler (@Chelsea Handler) 1539283881
The next day, TMZ confronted Graham about Handler's tweets and got his response on video.
"It's a free country. She can say what she wants to say. I don't care," said Graham when asked about Handler's tweets. "She knows zero about me. To the extent that it matters, I'm not gay. These comments, I don't think they reflect well on her."
This is the second time Handler has tweeted that Graham must be a closeted gay man.
“Holy, fuck fuck. I just the video of trumps bipartisan “meeting” yesterday. Hey, @LindseyGrahamSC what kind of dick sucking video do they have on you for you 2 be acting like this? Wouldn’t coming out be more honorable?”— Chelsea Handler (@Chelsea Handler) 1515632607
Graham is not alone in the sentiment that Handler's tweet that Graham is a member of the LGBTQ community is unproductive, contributing to an ongoing debate over whether it is appropriate to call homophobes gay.
“@chelseahandler @LindseyGrahamSC Fuck off Chelsea. Stop making it out like outwardly evil people are secretly gay. It’s old, it’s tired, it’s boring and your better than these repetitive shit takes.”— Chelsea Handler (@Chelsea Handler) 1539283881
“@chelseahandler @LindseyGrahamSC So constantly disappointed by "allies" who turn LGBTQ identities into punchlines and sources of malevolent shame. Again and again and again.”— Chelsea Handler (@Chelsea Handler) 1539283881
“@chelseahandler @LindseyGrahamSC I can’t stand Lindsey Graham but this tweet is not ok. For many reasons. First, using someone being gay as a way to shame or mock them is gross. Second, outing someone that you think is gay is terrible too so can you not? This is not being an ally.”— Chelsea Handler (@Chelsea Handler) 1539283881
Handler has not responded to accusations of homophobia nor deleted her tweet.
