With Donald Trump facing legal crises on numerous fronts and his presidency appearing less than steady, the Human Rights Campaign is launching an awareness campaign about his vice president's alarming record, including his history of targeting and demonizing LGBT people.

HRC launched a microsite and what it calls a "scathing" report on Mike Pence's penchant for attacking the rights of women and LGBT people, from his time in Congress to his stint as Indiana governor to his current position a heartbeat away from the presidency. The report is divided into sections: "Attack on Marriage Equality," "Attack on LGBTQ Americans in the Workplace," "Pushing for a 'License to Discriminate,'" "Attack on LGBTQ Healthcare," "Attack on Planned Parenthood and LGBTQ Health," "Blocking Hate Crimes Legislation," and "Attack on LGBTQ Troops."

The report concludes by pointing out Pence's blind ambition to sit in the Oval Office and makes clear that one of his intentions once there is to further marginalize LGBT people.

HRC also points out that Pence has "flown under the radar" thanks to the constant dysfunction of the Trump White House, but argues that he's been instrumental in Trump's reworking of the federal judicial syatem, with the president nominating many judges highly hostile to LGBT rights.

As part of HRC's campaign, the organization will launch a series of videos exposing Pence's disturbing record. See the first one below:
