Cher is wasting no time. The iconic singer, actor, and activist will be headlining an upcoming LGBTQ+ fundraiser for vice president Joe Biden and senator Kamala Harris's campaign.

Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Tammy Baldwin, and Rep. David Cicilline -- all of whom made queer history in politics -- are also scheduled to join the virtual event set to take place on August 31.

According to Deadline, tickets for the event range from $1,000 to $100,000. Donors of $50,000 or more will get to participate in a "virtual clutch."

Other Biden/Harris events are set to rollout in the next several weeks as well, including one this Wednesday with Will & Grace stars Debra Messing and Eric McCormack, who will be moderating a panel on the value of women voters and leadership alongside Rep. Lucy McBath, Rep. Abby Finkenauer, and Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.

On September 8, Jennifer Garner will be doing a virtual fundraiser with Jill Biden. Cyndi Lauper will also be headlining an LGBTQ+ event on September 14 alongside Buttigieg, Rep. Sharice Davids, and Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot.

Cher has vehemently opposed Donald Trump throughout his campaign and has recently taken to the streets to protest cuts to the United States Postal Service.

Over the weekend, she was spotted at the "Save the Post Office Saturday" protest demanding Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, a Trump appointee, to resign over cuts and the removal of mail sorting machines and mail boxes nationwide, which many activists say is an attempt to compromise the election process in favor of Republicans.

The singer has also vocally supported Biden on Twitter, saying she believes he will piece back together a "million shattered dreams" across America.
