In a video that has gone viral on social media, Michigan lawmaker Mallory McMorrow has shut down Michigan Senator Lana Theis over "grooming" accusations. Accordingto McMorrow, in a fundraising email, Theis called her a groomer and said that she was sexualizing children. All of this in an attempt to gin up support and dollars from Theis's base.

"I didn't expect to wake up yesterday to the news that the senator from the 22nd district had, overnight, accused me by name of groom and sexualizing children in an email fundraising for herself," McMorrow began in her statements. "So I sat on it for a while wondering: why me? And then I realized: because I am the biggest threat to your hollow, hateful scheme. Because you can't claim that you are targeting marginalized kids in the name of 'parental rights' if another parent is standing up to say no.

"So then what?" McMorrow continued. "Then you dehumanize and marginalize me."

In screenshots shared to social media, Theis called out "progressive social media trolls like Senator Mallory McMorrow (D-Snowflake) who are outraged they can't groom and sexualize kindergarteners or that 8-year olds are responsible for slavery."

At the end of the email, Theis implored readers to "stand up with me by making a dontation today!"

McMorrow was one of threesenators who walked out as Theis was speaking a week ago. There, Theis claimed children were "under attack" from "forces that desire things for them other than what their parents would have them see and hear and know."
