Couples across Alabama are grabbing marriage licenses Monday after the U.S. Supreme Court gave them the go-ahead to start marrying.

Same-sex couples from across the state of Alabama are flocking to tie the knot after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a last-minute attempt to deny marriage certificates to them.

There are still issues with enforcing marriage rights, as antigay state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore on Sunday ordered probate judges, who handle marriage licenses in the state, not to grant licenses to same-sex couples. One couple, Tiffany Morrison and Melina Akens, were denied a marriage license by a judge, citing Moore's order (which the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Monday morning). Nonetheless, most couples across the state are able to wed as of Monday. Here are a few of their happy faces:
