A lesbian couple in Atlanta became one of the first same-sex pairs to wed after the Supreme Court's historic ruling legalizing marriage equality throughout the country.

Emma Foulkes and Petrina Bloodworth received their license from Judge Jane Morrison within minutes of the ruling, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Georgia was one of the 13 states with marriage equality bans that the high court tossed out on Friday.
