Photos from Danny Rose and Aaron Rosenberg's wedding that broke the internet three years ago have recently gone viral again. What isn't there to love about a gay Jewish wedding complete with unicorns, performances from Ciara, Joss Stone, and Psy, in addition to a Muppet-filled tribute video? (See that video below. You can also watch Danny's equally spectacular proposal video to Aaron here.) But the happily-wed Hollywood power couple -- Danny is a TV producer and Aaron is an entertainment lawyer -- has a new reason to celebrate: they are the proud parents of a newborn baby boy, Gabriel Fox Rose-Rosenberg.
"We always knew kids were in the cards for us," Danny shares. "We just knew it was the right time to expand our family. It was a two-year process. Many of our friends have children and the more we were around them and felt the love, the more we knew it was time."
Gabriel Fox was born January 13 in Laguna Hills, Calif.
"Just holding our child for the first time after being in the room for his birth was the most amazing, surreal, loving and bonding experience," Aaron says.
Gabriel is the grandson of Isac and Elaine Rosenberg of Kansas City, Kan. Danny's parents, Howard Rose and Glenda Rose of Miami, passed away in 2013. The Roses were both part of the surrogacy process, and were excited and supportive for Gabriel's arrival.
Of course, there's no shortage of family to spoil him, and the new dads are loving their new little bundle of joy. "His extended family and friends keep him quite stylish," Danny adds. "At six weeks, if he sleeps, poops and fills a diaper on a schedule, that would be a cute story!"
So what can we expect from a couple that rode a unicorn down the aisle at their fairytale wedding at Paramount Studios?
"As far as traditions go, we maintain 'Broadway Sundays,' where we play show tunes or watch Broadway shows," Danny says. "He gets his fill of all types of music on other days -- lullabies, classic rock, Top 40, contemporary, etc. He seems to love when we sing to him."
When asked what wishes Danny and Aaron wanted to extend to their newborn son for the future, they said, "We hope Gabriel is surrounded by love, music, and laughter everyday of his life."
