Rachel Maddow wants her viewers to know about a potentially key difference between MSNBC and Fox News. There are no racist emails being forwarded around the MSNBC offices.

Maddow can't be certain there are any such emails getting shared at the Fox News offices, but something anchor Megyn Kelly said on air makes you wonder.

"There are very few companies in America... where you won't find any racist e-mails, any inappropriate comments, and then to tar the entire organization with that, it is additionally problematic," said Kelly, during a discussion about a Justice Department investigation of the Ferguson government that found a pattern of racist emailing.

"You know what, I don't get emails from my colleagues like that!" said Maddow on Tuesday night, adding, "maybe my office is an outlier."

As always, Maddow first did a thorough job of explaining the real news in this story -- the overt racism by top city officials.

Watch the report below, including Kelly's comments.
