Anti-LGBT extremist Steven Anderson, who marked World AIDS Day by sharing a video calling for the extermination of LGBT people to eradicate the disease by Christmas, seems to be reveling in the media attention and accompanying outrage.

Anderson is the pastor of Faithful Word Baptist Church. On the church's Facebook page -- where the AIDS video was posted with an appeal to "Make this viral! (no pun intended - haha)" -- there are also recent posts commenting on media coverage ("Finally, a TV news story that actually played the Bible verse! It's about time") and a link to a video of a 2013 Anderson sermon titled "The Truth About the Sodomites." The Facebook post said, "Preached at FWBC in Tempe, AZ. The truth is hate to those who hate the truth!"

"Throughout the sermon, Anderson, often reading from his Bible, refers to gay people as 'disgusting,' 'vile,' 'reprobate,' 'haters of the lord,' 'filled with murder,' and 'basically rapists.' He also compares same-sex sex to an animal eating its own vomit, bestiality, and a human committing suicide," The New Civil Rights Movement reports.

Anderson previously made headlines for saying he prayed for the death of President Barack Obama.
