Love Inc. magazine debuted this year online with a specific mission: to feature wedding images and planning inspiration for couples of "all orientations."
While some publications may throw the occasional bone to LGB readers, the eye-catching digital magazine hopes to set itself apart by directly addressing not only "equal love" consistently, but by explicitly addressing gender -- something its T audience may particularly resonate with.
For its third issue, founder Brittny Drye and photographer Ryan Carville have focused their sights on "shattering gender barriers" with a gender-fluid photo shoot that some are calling "game-changing" for the wedding magazine industry. The cover and spread (included below) feature adrogynous model Dylan Stephens flawlessly sporting everything from a classic tux and wedding gown, to a hip red dinner jacket and bridal pant suit.
With stories on engagement-watch shopping (for those looking outside the traditional engagement ring box), unisex fragrances, and a guide to wedding invites that includes how to respectfully address nonbinary friends ("Identity trumps tradition ... respect is key!"), Love Inc. appears to be living up to the cover line on its latest issue: "Wedding fashion inspiration for all -- gender norms be gone!"
