The Pride Center of the Capital District has been serving the LGBTQ community in New York's Capital Region and beyond for 48 years. In fact, it is the oldest continuously operating LGBTQ community center in the country.
Each and every year the Pride Center of the Capital Region puts together a week-long celebration in June -- the official Pride Nonth -- everything from an Alt Prom to BBQs to a 5K run, culminating with a Pride Parade and Pride Festival, which is always on the seconnd Sunday in June.
Check out the Pride Center website for more information and follow the center on Facebook here.
