...The Ali Forney Center.

I did some work with them when I lived in New York City and was lucky enough to get to know their founder, Carl Siciliano. Carl is beyond inspiring, and the work the AFC does is exceptional. They provide housing, support, counseling, health services, and most importantly, a smart and loving staff for homeless LGBT youth in New York City. The center is in constant need of support. Advocate_starstruckx400deep_0...Starstruck, By Rachel Shukert. The first installment of Rachel Shukert's new young adult novel series revolves around a group of girls in the studio system during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Now, I know what you're thinking: a book written for and about teenage girls? Calm down and stop pretending like you don't have a favorite member of One Direction. This book is the closest thing to Valley of the Dolls since the final season of The Anna Nicole Show. It is a juicy, campy, brilliantly written page-turner, perfect to read this summer with a couple of your favorite pills.

...Peanut Butter. One of the main reasons life is worth living. To those people who are allergic, I can only apologize; you are truly missing out on one of the world's greatest pleasures -- but honestly, it's not my problem. I a advocate going into your kitchen right now and dipping your largest spoon in a jar of peanut butter, then slowly eating it. Did you do it? You're welcome. Unless you've just realized you're allergic to peanut butter, in which case call 9-1-1.

Self_october18x400deep_0...October18th. I modeled for this very cool online vintage clothing store. Combining vintage finds with original T-shirts, October 18th is cool with a capital c. They're the kind of clothes your cool friend Zane would wear. Yeah him, the one who always knows the best music and who smells like sage. They're based in Los Angeles and operate a weekly shop at the Melrose Trading Post flea market. Etsy.com/shop/October18th

...The American Foundation for Equal Rights.
There are many incredible nonprofits all over the country fighting the fight for our rights. One of them, the American Foundation for Equal Rights, has fought tirelessly to take the Prop 8 case all the way to the Supreme Court. Their hard work and endless outreach continue to bring marriage equality to the forefront of everyone's minds. AFER.org
