If you've been on Twitter recently, you've likely seen avatars and images depicting a green frog. As we've learned, this is no friendly amphibian -- it's a symbol of white nationalism, anti-Semitism, and general minority hate. The Nazi-sympathizing frog, named Pepe, has been co-opted by some of Donald Trump's most right-wing supporters.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow recently helped explain the origins and meaning of Pepe, and pointed out how the symbol has been co-opted by former Ku Klux Klan imperial wizard David Duke. Even Donald Trump, Jr. -- Trump's oldest son, who just compared refugees to Skittles -- embraced Pepe. Watch below and try not to seethe.
