The crowd went wild on Friday night when gay Dodgers fans kissed for the crowd during the baseball team's annual LGBT night.
Two male Dodgers fans -- one sporting the team's distinctive baby blue hue -- shared their affection during the infamous "kiss cam." The crowd inside Dodger stadium went wild; hooting, hollering, and cheering. Other queer pairs kissed, including female couples, according to videos posted on LGBT Hollywood's Instagram.(The Dodgers didn't wait until LGBT night to put same-sex couples on the kiss cam; another couple went for it last month.)
The Dodgers hosted their LGBT night pn Friday, with reality star and West Hollywood restaurant owner Lisa Vanderpump, out country singer Ty Herndon, and newly-married Lance Bass in attendance. Vanderpump threw out the first pitch, while Herndon sang the national anthem. Billy Bean, the former professional baseball player who later came out publicly, was also in attendance.
Before the game against the San Francisco Giants began (the NorCal team bested SoCal boys, 9-5), the team honored former NFL player Dave Kopay, who came out in 1975, as well as EJ Johnson, the out son of basketball legend and philanthropist Magic Johnson. Other honorees from last night included the Varsity Gay League and the Greater Los Angeles Softball Association.
