The out Olympic athlete rang in 2016 with a kiss from his beau.
Gus Kenworthy, the Olympic freeskier who made headlines last year after coming out as gay in an interview with ESPN Magazine, rang in the New Year with a few kisses, one of which came from his boyfriend Matthew Wilkas.
"So who do you want to kiss for New Year's?" comedienne Kathy Griffin (accompanied by out news anchor Anderson Copper) asked him during a live interview on New Year's Eve that was broadcast on CNN.
"I already kissed you, but you're welcome to come find me again at midnight," Kenworthy replied jokingly. "My boyfriend Matt is here with me."
According to IMDb, Wilkas is an actors known for various LGBT films and television shows, from the starring role in 2012's Gayby to small guest spots on HBO's Looking and Logo's Eastsiders.
