There was much for LGBT hockey fans to enjoy at a recent Blackhawks game.
They may have been rooting for opposing teams, but that didn't stop two male hockey fans from sharing a smooch.
A Detroit Red Wings fan kissed another man wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey Sunday at a National Hockey League match.
He made the most of a "kiss cam" moment, casually leaning in for a peck just after the Blackhawks fan kissed a woman to his left.
Coincidentally, bisexual singer Lady Gaga was also caught on the kiss cam during the game. She smooched fiance Taylor Kinney, an actor on Chicago Fire.
This is not the first time same-sex smooches at sporting events have attracted media attention. In January, a couple's kiss at an L.A. Kings game was greeted with applause at the Staples Center. Another same-sex couple hit a home run at a Los Angeles Dodgers game last May.
The Edmonton Oilers, another NHL team, has been advocating for LGBT acceptance within the sports league. Members of the Canadian team wrapped their sticks in rainbow Pride tape as a show of support.
