Those clever players at the Nashville Grizzlies Rugby Football Club found a great way to raise funds to travel to the Colonial Cup in Philadelphia this May. Read more below.
The handsome men here are members of the Nashville Grizzlies Rugby Football Club, a USA Rugby Division III men's rugby union club. The are a diverse group of guys ranging in age and they welcome new players, gay and straight, experienced, new to rugby or even new to organized sports.
They recently completed a decade of inclusive rugby in Nashville. They hosted the Bingham Cup in 2016 and won the Hoagland Shield. They also had their first winning season ever in the fall of 2016, where they won the Queen City Crown tournament in Charlotte.
Running a successful team requires lots of fundraising. So they decided to pair their 10-year celebration with their Annual Bachelor Auction fundraiser.
The auction will be hosted byThe Princess (of RuPaul's Drag Race fame) at PLAY Dance Bar this Friday, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Tennessee Equality Project, an organization dedicated to advancing and protecting the civil rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people of the state.
