Currently touring the nation's conservative Christian universities and military academies with 35 LGBT advocates in tow, the Equality Ride bus was vandalized outside a hotel in Cleveland, Tenn., with the homophobic message spelled out in pink letters.

Several students from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., on Friday helped to remove antigay graffiti that had been spray-painted on the Equality Ride bus, which is being used to ferry young LGBT activists to religious schools across the country.

Twenty-one gay rights activists--participants in the cross-country Equality Ride--were arrested Wednesday on the grounds of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., after staging a protest against the Pentagon's "don't ask, don't ask" policy regarding gay service members.

The U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., planned to deny entry Wednesday to a busload of gay rights activists as they completed their cross-country tour of 20 conservative Christian and military colleges with a challenge to the "don't ask, don't tell" military policy they say keeps gay cadets closeted.
