A Pride festival has been held in Franklin for the past two years, but this year anti-LGBTQ+ residents are accusing organizers of "grooming" children and seeking to destroy the nation.
“We’ve got a real problem in this country, and to be worrying about men wanting to dress up as women? God bless ’em to wear those high heels," McEntire said.

Elliot Page is one of 57 transgender adults asking the nation's highest court to block Tennessee's ban on gender-affirming care for minors.
The ban "is inimical to equality and equal dignity before the law," the American Bar Association's brief says.
If the high court takes up the case, it would be the first one it hears on gender-affirming care.
