Take a look at Netflix's new Fab Five -- as well as the past cast members whose shoes they're filling.
The new Fab Five have arrived.
Netflix has introduced the new cast of Queer Eye -- a reboot of Bravo's Emmy-winning reality show featuring five gay men who use their skills to transform straight lives.
"It's a new time with a new audience," creator David Collins told Entertainment Weekly. "If the original round was about tolerance, this time it is about acceptance."
The show, which premieres in February, will focus on transforming the lives of men in red states -- a departure from the 2003 version, which centered in New York City.
Moreover, each subject will be referred to as a "hero," said Collins. And the series will show the Fab Five in more emotional circumstances, like "reacting to being with a cop from the South who was a Trump supporter, [or] 'hillbilly Tom,' who refers to himself by saying 'you can't fix ugly.'"
The new cast members were chosen from a list of hundreds of possibilities from all over the world. Forty were brought to Los Angeles for auditions.
Here are the final picks, who are pictured alongside the predecessors in their respective fields of expertise.
Culture: Karamo Brown (succeeding Jai Rodriguez, left)
Brown is a former cast member on The Real World: Philadelphia. In addition to being a media personality, he is an HIV activist and recently appeared on the cover of Plus magazine discussing the epidemic in LGBT communities of color.
Grooming: Jonathan Van Ness (succeeding Kyan Douglas, left)
Van Ness is a celebrity hairdresser, known as the host of Funny or Die's Gay of Thrones. The show gives sassy recaps of HBO's Game of Thrones -- with guests receiving the bonus of a GoT-inspired hairdo.
Fashion: Tan France (succeeding Carson Kressley, left)
A British fashion expert, France was lead designer for the brands Kingdom & State and Rachel Parcell Inc.
Food and Wine: Antoni Porowski (succeeding Ted Allen, left)
Queer Eye alumnus Ted Allen helped discover his successor, Antoni Porowski, who served as the Chopped host's personal chef.
Design: Bobby Berk (succeeding Thom Filicia, left)
The design expert has an eponymous line of home furnishings, Bobby Berk Home.
