Emmy-winning drag legend RuPaul made an epic guest appearance on an episode of The Price Is Right earlier this week, and besides helping a superfan named Ashley (who happened to be wearing a t-shirt with the "reading is fundamental" catchphrase written on it) win a brand new car, Mama Ru also helped raise a ton of money for a worthwhile cause.

According to The Hill, the Drag Race host helped raise nearly $100,000 for national women's reproductive health care organization Planned Parenthood. The long-running CBS daytime game show vowed to match the value of all of the prizes won during Ru's episode to donate for a charitable org, and with contestants winning over $97,266 worth of prizes that day, Planned Parenthood got a big, well-deserved donation coming their way.

But this isn't the first time the drag queen has helped raise awareness for the often-maligned women's health care nonprofit.

Back in 2017, RuPaul revealed that his beloved mother used to work at Planned Parenthood, and the organization, which he publicly supports and been vocal about for years, has a special place in his heart.

"My mother's first job after the divorce was at #PlannedParenthood," he tweeted. "She worked there for many years. #IStandWithPP"

Of course, the good news didn't stop some online conservatives from voicing their opinions...

...but there was still an overwhelming amount of support for Ru raising money for Planned Parenthood!

In today's dark world, this is the kind of thing we like to see!
