The trailer for the third and final season of Pose has arrived -- and it's tens across the board.

With a tagline of "As a family. Always," the new season's trailer teases the conclusion of the beloved show about New York City's ballroom scene, which made history with trans representation.

The final season will take place in 1994, when "ballroom feels like a distant memory for Blanca who struggles to balance being a mother with being a present partner to her new love, and her latest role as a nurse's aide," a release stated

"Meanwhile, as AIDS becomes the leading cause of death for Americans ages 25 to 44, Pray Tell contends with unexpected health burdens. Elsewhere, the emergence of a vicious new upstart house forces the House of Evangelista members to contend with their legacy."

Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals, Pose premiered in 2018, making history with its number of transgender stars, among them Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar, andAngelica Ross.

During its run, Billy Porter also made history by being the first Black gay man to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. The acclaimed drama accrued Peabody and AFI awards and Golden Globe nominations.

Season 3 of Pose premieres May 2 at 10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on FX. The seven-episode season will end June 6.
