A transgender rights group flew a flag that read "trans people deserve to live" during the final game of the World Series at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday. On Monday, the National Center for Transgender Equality helped activists unfurl a 150-foot transgender pride flag at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., according to The Hill.

Pro-trans demonstrations have ramped up since it was revealed in a memo earlier this month that the Trump administration is seeking to change the definition of gender based on the genitals with which a person is born, thereby erasing trans people. The administration's continued assault on trans people after rolling back protections and the proposed military ban earlier in Donald Trump's tenure caused fear and outrage that spurred the #WeWontBeErased campaign.

"Sex means a person's status as male or female based on immutable biological traits identifiable by or before birth," the memo from Trump's Department of Health and Human Services reads, according to The New York Times. "The sex listed on a person's birth certificate, as originally issued, shall constitute definitive proof of a person's sex unless rebutted by reliable genetic evidence."

On the heels of @TransLatino's demonstration at the World Series, activists in D.C. made a massive statement by rolling out a transgender flag that covered the steps leading up to the Lincoln Memorial.

"We #WontBeErased, and we won't be forgotten, and we won't be ignored," the National Center for Transgender Equality tweeted. "Today, we worked with local advocates and community members to unfurl a 150-foot trans flag on some of our nation's most visible real estate: the Lincoln Memorial."
