Teen Wolf star Holland Roden, who plays the fiery banshee Lydia Martin on the MTV supernatural series, has responded positively to her castmate Charlie Carver's decision to publicly come out as gay, which he did on Instagram in January.
"I was so happy for him when he did it," Roden told The Advocate at a recent MTV event. "I know he was thinking about doing it for a while and struggling with is that a necessary message to send out -- the act of coming out -- still in 2016 and he came to the conclusion ... that it is still necessary because there are kids living in parts of the world [where] it's not OK, and to hear someone stand on their own two feet and claim their identity that's still important to a lot of kids."
In addition to applauding his decision, she also recalled a funny -- and embarrassing -- moment the two of them shared on set while filming Teen Wolf's third season when Carver tugged on the zipper of her skirt and caused a wardrobe malfunction that involved a different kind of full moon.
