In response to a viral video of two men holding hands in Moscow being subjected to physical assault, a similar experiment took place in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.

Zoryan Kis and Tymur Levchuk filmed the video for Bird in Flight magazine, where they walked through the streets of Kiev hand-in-hand. The public reaction was muted; most paid little attention, while some were amused by the novelty of a male couple.

Things changed when Levchuk sat on Kis's lap. The men were soon approached by what they described as "extreme right men" or "young neo-Nazis." Watch what happened below.
