Michael Sam, the first out athlete to be drafted by the NFL, sat down for a Spirit Day video with his former fiance, Vito Cammisano.

The on-time couple described how they both experienced bullying and urge everyone to show support for youth today by wearing purple. "As someone who was once bullied, I think it's very important that we tackle this issue," Sam said.
