A TikTok showing a homophobic and transphobic Christian woman harassing two teenagers is going viral today.

TikTok user Kaiden (@kalessh) and his cousin filmed the interaction between them and an adult stranger who approached their table at a restaurant when they were eating. The woman had been staring at them and then decided to confront the two.

"Um, you go to church anywhere?" The woman asks the two teens. "Do you guys know how to get to heaven?" At first Kaiden and his cousin Jordan seem just confused, saying "we don't know you." Then, the woman misgendered Kaiden.

"You guys aren't like, girlfriends are you?" The woman asks in the video. When Jordan says they're cousins, not dating, "but if it was, it's genuinely none of your business," the woman digs in deeper.

"You're right, you're right," she says, "But I just wanna let you guys know cause they don't teach you young kids about god anymore, and it's just not the right way to live." She adds, "but the truth's gotta be out there."

Jordan again tried to get the woman to leave, saying that they're just minding their own business and don't know her. The woman tells them that god told her to come talk to them. As the two teens look on stunned, the woman says, "God bless. Jesus saves," and finally walks away.

The video currently has over 4.3 million likes on TikTok, with nearly 100,000 people commenting on it. Orange is the New Black star Dascha Polanco was one of those comments. "Yo ppl need to mind their own damn f$∈ business ya should of screamed STRANGER DANGER REAL LOUD," she said. Others in the comments said that Kaiden and Jordan were way more polite than they would've been. Others said that they are Christians and do not support the woman in the video or what she's saying.

The video is infuriating to watch, and is a reminder of how exhausting it can be to be queer in public. Even when you're just enjoying a meal, there are still homophobes and transphobes ready to ruin your day.
