Thursday was GLAAD's national Spirit Day, when LGBT people and allies around the world wore and purple to show their support for LGBT youth and to take a stand against anti-LGBT bullying. But the social media frenzy had a greater cause than just the purple t-shirts and selfies: show people across the country and around the world, that they have LGBT friends and allies everywhere. Here are a few shots from Thursday's activities.
