Ellen DeGeneres has tested positive for COVID-19.
The lesbian talk show host revealed her diagnosis in a Thursday tweet.
Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I have tested positive for COVID-19," she stated on Twitter. "Fortunately, I am feeling fine right now."
The 62-year-old comedian added, "Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified and I am following all proper CDC guidelines.
"I'll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe."
DeGeneres has become the most high-profile lesbian in the entertainment industry to test positive for the virus. Earlier this year, Andy Cohen revealed his own diagnosis and Terrence McNally died of complications related to it.
